Frequently Asked Questions

That depends. We only offer a one night stay option to hikers or cyclists on dinner, bed and breakfast plan. Please enquire for details.

We do have a limited number of rooms available for longer stays. Please contact us directly for full details.

We can provide both dairy and gluten free options for both breakfast and dinner if we are notified in advance. We can also provide vegan menus.

Unfortunately we don’t have a guest laundry available but there are laundry facilities available at the holiday park across the road.

Please contact us directly or go to the main Scot Mountain Holidays website to book a walking or wildlife guide. You will need to give us details of:

How many people are in your group?
When you want a guide?
How long you want the guided day to be (in time and/or length)?
Any ambitions for the day?

It’s unlikely that we will be able to offer early check in as we are more often than not short staffed, particularly in the main part of the season (June – September). We will do our best to accommodate any families with young children if the weather is particularly inclement, but we do normally need the majority of the time between check out and check in to changeover, cover any maintenance issues and catch up with essential office/marketing work.

We can sometimes accommodate early check ins but there is an additional charge of £50 to prioritorise your changeover. Alternatively it is free to drop your bags off early before heading off to explore in the area.
